Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announced on March 25, 2021 that a community-based vaccination clinic will open in Marathon County on April 6, 2021. The clinic will be open Tuesday, April 6, through Saturday, April 10, from 11 a.m. – 7p.m., and will be located at the Northcentral Technical College—Center for Business and Industry Building in Wausau.
Individuals must register for an appointment using the Wisconsin COVID-19 Registry.
The clinic will first schedule vaccinations for those on the Marathon County Health Department’s waitlist and give priority to those who are 65 and older, educators, and child care staff. Then the clinic will schedule appointments for anyone currently eligible for the vaccine.

Eau Claire County
A federally-supported mass vaccination clinic will open on April 8, 2021 in the Zorn Arena on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. Zorn Arena offers easy access for residents in the city and for visitors to Eau Claire via U.S. Highways 12 and 53, and Interstate 94. Parking will be available on campus.
The clinic is committed to providing at least 3,500 weekly doses of COVID-19 vaccine for the site and will be capable of vaccinating 1,200 people per day. To sign up for an appointment, go to vaccinate.wi.gov, or call 844-684-1064. Walk-ins will not be accepted at this vaccination clinic.
The vaccination clinic is a joint effort between Eau Claire City-County Health Department, UW-Eau Claire, Wisconsin Department of Human Health and Services, the State of Wisconsin and Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 5.
