Chippewa Valley Free Clinic

Since 1997, the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic (CVFC) has been delivering on their mission to provide quality health care to and advocacy for individuals of the Chippewa Valley who have no reasonable health care alternative. The clinic provides services such as:  family basic health, mental health, vision, and dental, as well as free medications and medical supplies.  In 2019 the CVFC provided 2313 patient visits to 588 unique patients.

Other than seven paid staff members (most of whom are part-time), the organization is primarily dependent on volunteers to provide medical services to patients. Over 190 volunteers provide their time and expertise in two areas:

    1. Health care: physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners, social workers, and lab and pharmacy technicians
    2. Clinic support: receptionists, administrative assistants, food providers, data entry and Spanish interpreters.

Both the Medical Director and Dental Director positions are filled by volunteer medical professionals.

Ruder Ware’s donation will directly fund clinic operations allowing CVFC to serve more patients.

While last year’s “Raise Spirits Give Hope” signature fundraising event for the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic (CVFC) was cancelled due to the pandemic, they’ve found a unique way to raise funds in 2021 via a specially curated box of specialty items.  Ruder Ware was proud to be their February box sponsor.
