Tyler is known for his ability to navigate complex procedural requirements and keep matters moving forward efficiently.
A skilled problem solver, he thrives in the dynamic nature of the law and approaches each challenge with a practical, business‑first mindset focused on client needs.
Tyler returned to Ruder Ware after working in‑house for an international insurance company, where he partnered closely with attorneys on institutional mandates, class action litigation, trade and economic sanctions, distribution partnerships, compliance programs, and other complex legal matters. He also played a key role in supporting the business through its sale to another entity.
At Ruder Ware, Tyler provides paralegal support to attorneys practicing in business, employment, and litigation. His work includes:
- Assists with the formation of business entities and maintains corporate records, supporting ongoing compliance.
- Supporting real estate transactions and contract review matters
- Assisting with OFAC and other international sanction law compliance matters
- Assisting attorneys with employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, worker misclassification, non‑compete, FMLA, ADA, and compliance issues
- Assisting with drafting pleadings and conducting legal research
- Supporting independent investigations and eDiscovery matters
- Preparing trial and appellate materials, including exhibits and briefs, and providing support during agency, state court, and federal court proceedings
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys being a dad and hopes to pass along his love of board games to his son, who is currently enthusiastic about the Oregon Trail board game. An avid reader, Tyler enjoys both fiction and non‑fiction, with a particular interest in history and science. When he is not reading, he can often be found looking skyward, admiring and photographing the ever‑changing cloud patterns throughout the seasons.
