Tyler Richardson Selected for Prestigious Paralegal of the Year Award

Posted on May 9, 2019

Ruder Ware is pleased to congratulate Tyler Richardson on receiving the “Paralegal of the Year” Award from the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin (PAW).  Tyler is the third Ruder Ware paralegal to receive the honor – Anita Seering was honored in 2013 and Angela Gonzalez in 2015.

The “Paralegal of the Year” award is the most prestigious award given by PAW.  The award celebrates the dedication and efforts of an individual exemplifying a successful paralegal.  Honorees are not only active within their firms but also their communities, giving back civically.

Tyler received his A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2011.  He recently received the State Bar of Wisconsin’s “Certified Paralegal” designation.  The nominating attorney commented, “This paralegal will do what it takes to get the job done and gives 110% every day.”  Tyler volunteers his time for Wills for Veterans as well as the human resources committee for The Neighbors’ Place.

At Ruder Ware Tyler provides paralegal support for attorneys practicing in the areas of employment law compliance and litigation support.  Tyler assists with discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, worker misclassification, and non-compete matters as well as FMLA, ADA, and employment law compliance issues.  In addition he assists with legal research, summarizes deposition transcripts, and prepares initial drafts of pleadings.
