We assist businesses and individuals in maximizing and protecting their corporate and personal assets from locations in Eau Claire, Green Bay, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids. Where we are located:

We are located in the Dudley Tower in beautiful downtown Wausau. Our modern and comfortable office space is located on the River Walk and overlooks the Granite Peak ski hill, the Wisconsin River, and the vibrant downtown. We currently occupy the 8th and 9th floors of the building which offer a spectacular view during all seasons of the year. There are also several restaurants within walking distance, not to mention convenient proximity to the events held on the 400 Block.

We are seeking a receptionist to join the team in our Wausau office. We are looking for YOU because you thrive on interacting with people and can do so in a professional manner. You value client service and the chance to make a difference.  Previous experience in a law firm is not required. In fact, our most successful support staff come to us from a variety of industries (ex. restaurants, car rental service, retail, daycare, and many more). What we expect:

First and foremost, the candidate must possess a positive and welcoming personality. The candidate must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, both independently and as part of a team.

What you will do on any given day:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner; promptly serving them while presenting a positive first impression.
  • Respond to clients and visitors by directing them to conference rooms and providing refreshments as needed.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner, determine the caller’s needs, and respond or refer the call to the appropriate individual.
  • Maintain Firm calendars for all recurring meetings using Microsoft Outlook and employee intranet.
  • Work with receptionists in other offices to coordinate attorney visits, schedule meetings, and coordinate courier deliveries.
  • Set up videoconferencing in conference rooms as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and refill supplies in all conference rooms.
  • Point of contact for the Dudley Tower building maintenance as it pertains to Ruder Ware’ needs.
  • Update and maintain documents on employee intranet as assigned.
  • Coordinate pick-up and delivery of interoffice mail.
