At Ruder Ware, Lucas plans to author articles on various topics relating to business and health care law to keep clients up to date on the latest developments.  In addition, his practice includes:

• Representing businesses in connection with a wide variety of general corporate and contractual matters.
• Representing parties in commercial real estate and leasing transactions.
• Representing buyers and sellers in a variety of merger & acquisition transactions.

While in law school, Lucas was a ballet class pianist for the University of Iowa Youth Ballet and Community Dance School.  An intensely challenging and fluid role, he learned to improvise and anticipate what accompaniment complimented which positions.  These days, Lucas unwinds by running and reading fiction (both classics and contemporary).
