Growing up in a family business, Ben knew from an early age that he was not cut out to be an engineer or machinery builder, but that he was intrigued with the prospect of helping business owners and managers find practical solutions to the problems that keep them up at night.

At Ruder Ware, Ben attempts to do just that, counseling family-owned and closely held businesses in entity formation, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and other day-to-day matters. He assists clients with a broad range of business sale and acquisition, reorganization, and corporate finance transactions, including private securities offerings.

Ben also advises banks, bank holding companies, and other financial institutions on matters including bank holding company formations, capital raises, mergers, acquisitions, branch purchases, and other regulatory matters involving the FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve, and state regulators.

A perfectly brewed cup of coffee is a day maker for Ben, who prefers a dark roast (no cream or sugar, please).  Ben is an avid reader who enjoys reading about business culture and organizational health.
