Ruder Ware has an active summer
associate program, which runs for approximately ten weeks,
generally from late May through early August. We strive to
provide summer associates with opportunities to work with each
of our main practice groups. This allows the summer associate an
opportunity to explore different areas of the law while also
allowing as many of our firm's attorneys as possible to meet and
work with the summer associate. Each summer associate is
provided an individual mentor who provides ongoing support and
feedback throughout the summer program. Although participation
in our summer program is not a guarantee for employment as an
attorney upon graduation from law school, each summer associate
is given serious consideration for a full-time position with the
firm.
Summer associate recruiting begins with on-campus interviews of
second year law students or other qualified candidates in the
fall of each year. Ruder Ware regularly participates in annual
on-campus recruiting at seven campuses including: Northwestern
Law, Marquette University Law School, University of Wisconsin
Law School, University of Minnesota Law School, University of
St. Thomas School of Law, Hamline University Law School, and
William Mitchell College of Law. 2008 on-campus interviews are
complete. Other
interested candidates are encouraged to send a cover letter and
resume, via regular mail or e-mail, to
Joe Mella, Recruiting Coordinator.
