Brian T. Flood

Professional Experience

Practicing law was a natural choice as Brian is a third generation attorney.  At Ruder Ware, Brian’s practice is divided between business transactions, banking, litigation, and employment law.  As a litigator, his even-keel attitude means clients have the benefit of cool headed reasoning when a matter is heating up.  Brian cultivates a partnership type relationship with clients, preferring to set strategies and make decisions together.  Areas where he works with clients include:

  • Resolves commercial/business and civil disputes such as construction disputes and liens, shareholder disputes, insurance issues, product liability, trust and probate disputes, and appellate actions.
  • Reviews and draft contracts.
  • Provides employment law counsel on matters such as wrongful discharge/discrimination complaints, employee handbooks, noncompete and confidentiality agreements.
  • Banking collections.

When not spending time at his family’s lakeside cottage, Brian and his wife enjoy travelling, whether it is just a short trip down the road or across the country.
