MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Welcome to our Web page where we feature our firm’s leaders. The individuals shown below have been elected by their fellow shareholders to serve on our firm’s board of directors or they have been appointed by the directors to lead our four practice group areas.

You may see names and faces below. If you had the privilege of working with these individuals, however, as I do, you would also see a number of common characteristics. First, each of our firm’s leaders is a superb practitioner, sought out by clients for their judgment and wisdom as well as for their technical skills. Second, each has a keen understanding of law as a service profession. In dealing with client needs, they are responsive, proactive and empathetic. They are also professional and respectful in dealing with adversaries, judges, other members of the firm and our staff. The third thing our leaders have in common is that they give back to their communities. They serve on other boards and share their talents of analysis, reasoning, expression and persuasion for the public good. Another characteristic, which I especially appreciate, is that these individuals have the self-confidence to be able to recognize that their way is not the only way or always the best way. They know that the highest quality work comes from the pooled talents of people with different perspectives. Finally, these people enjoy what they do. They are positive, energetic and enthusiastic about their professional and personal lives.
