With a population of just over 100,000, Green Bay is Wisconsin’s third largest city and the third largest city on Lake Michigan’s west shore.  From its earliest days as Wisconsin’s oldest settlement, the paper and shipping industry became and continues to be the economy’s backbone.  Green Bay has two claims to fame:

• In the early 1900s a resident of Green Bay invented the world’s first splinter-free toilet paper
• Green Bay is the smallest city to host a National Football League team, the beloved Green Bay Packers.  Founded in 1919, the 13-time National Champions are the only NFL team owned by its fans.
