Professional Experience:
Matt practices primarily in the area of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions and related acquisition financings, and the representation of financial institutions in connection with regulatory and other matters. His recent transactional experience includes:

• Representation of public companies in connection with meeting SEC periodic reporting obligations, including companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

• Representation of financial institutions in connection with branch sale and acquisition transactions, as well as financial institution sale and acquisition transactions that were structured as mergers and other stock transactions.
• Representation of a bank holding company in connection with the organization of a de novo state bank and the related offering of securities necessary for capitalization.
• Representation of privately-held companies in connection with sales of assets to both public and private acquisition companies.
• Representation of issuers in connection with private and public offerings of equity and debt securities.
• Representation of borrowers, lenders, and loan participants in connection with financing transactions involving both secured and unsecured and senior and subordinated debt.
• Representation of family-owned businesses in connection with a wide variety of general corporate matters

Mr. Rowe is a member of the firm's Board of Directors, and he serves as chairman of the firm's Business Transactions Practice Group.  Mr. Rowe also serves on the Board of Directors of Aspirus, Inc., which delivers comprehensive health care services through a network of facilities located in north central Wisconsin and upper Michigan, and he is a director of Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Inc., a 325-bed hospital located in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Mr. Rowe also serves as president and a director of the Dan Storey Foundation, Inc., a private philanthropic foundation, and he has served as an officer and director of a number of other community and civic organizations.
