Professional Experience:
Steven Immel practices in the areas of business transactions and emerging businesses, local government law, and alternative dispute resolution. Steve is a 20-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was the first military judge in the Department of Defense to deploy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military awards include The Legion Of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
Steve's professional experience includes:
- Creating and structuring shareholder agreements for closely held companies.
- Drafting and negotiating domestic and international distribution agreements for a mid size company that distributes products to 20 different counties.
- Drafting and negotiating domestic and international licensing agreements for internationally recognized brands.
- Drafting international purchase order and other contract terms.
- Drafting "start up" private placement and information memoranda for several emerging businesses.
- Conducting an internal investigation for a municipality to evaluate allegations of misconduct.
