Professional Experience:

Mark Bradley practices in the areas of business succession planning, tax and estate planning, and estate and trust administration. He also serves as trustee of numerous client trusts through the firm's fiduciary services department. Among his engagements are the following:

  • Providing trustee services to multi-generation family and advising on family's ownership retention of manufacturing company.
  • Structuring series of grantor-retained annuity trusts for owners of bank holding company stock to shift appreciation to younger family members.
  • Assisting lumber company's sole shareholder in forming an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) followed by a sale of stock to the ESOP to defer recognition of capital gain on the sale.
  • Successful representation of a deceased physician's estate concerning IRS and state challenges to prior gifts, income tax returns, and residency.
  • Providing trustee services and coordinating multi-state real estate holdings for client's surviving spouse and children.
