Professional Experience:

Kevin Terry’s legal practice focuses on providing counsel to clients in matters relating to labor and employment law, municipal law, and school law.  Kevin’s experience includes:

• Providing counsel on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including employment handbooks, employment contracts, unemployment compensation, Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and defense of employers in state and federal employment discrimination claims.

• Representation of municipalities and school districts in all day-to-day legal issues, including ordinance drafting and enforcement, municipal finance, drafting of contracts and development agreements, zoning matters, counsel at regular meetings, and compliance with the public records and open meetings law.

• Drafting and litigating non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and confidentiality agreements.

• Negotiation of collective bargaining agreements on behalf of public and private sector employers.

• Representation of employers through the grievance process, interest arbitration, and prohibited practice litigation.
