Attorney Melissa Kampmann Joins The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel As Fellow

Ruder Ware is pleased to announce that Melissa Kampmann has become a Fellow with The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel is a nonprofit association of lawyers and law professors skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts; estate planning; and probate procedure and administration of trusts and estates of decedents, minors and incompetents. Its more than 2,500 members are called “Fellows” and practice throughout the United States, Canada and other foreign countries.

To qualify for membership, a lawyer must have no less than 10 years’ experience in the active practice of probate and trust law or estate planning. Lawyers and law professors are elected to be Fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities.

Melissa Kampmann chairs the Trusts & Estates Practice Group.  As a seasoned estate planner and Certified Financial Planner, Melissa counsels individuals and families on creating a plan for the transfer and preservation of their assets during their lifetime and at death. Melissa works with a client’s trusted advisors to create a flexible life plan that meets their goals, both emotional and financial in addition to guiding clients through the probate and trust administration process.
