Attorney John Fisher, II Earns his Certified Compliance Ethics Professional Designation

John Fisher, II, a health care attorney with Ruder Ware in Wausau, Wisconsin, has obtained the designation of CCEP, Certified Compliance Ethics Professional. The certification is provided by The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), a national organization based in Minneapolis.
SCCE defines the CHC designation as follows:
CCEP Professional: The CCEP is a professional with knowledge of relevant regulations and expertise in compliance processes sufficient to assist the corporate industry to understand and address legal obligations, and promote organizational integrity through the operation of effective compliance programs.
SCCE also states that: The purpose of the certification is to promote compliance through the certification of qualified compliance professionals by:

Recognizing formally those individuals who meet the eligibility requirements of the CCB and pass the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) Examination.
Encouraging continued personal and professional growth in the practice of compliance.
Providing a national standard of requisite knowledge required for certification; thereby assisting employers, the public and members of the professions in the assessment of a compliance professional.

Attorney Fisher has also obtained his Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association.
